New Executive Board at the Aruban Olympic Committee

Dear Olympic Friends,

In a historic General Assembly that took place on Thursday 11 June 2009, and that was attended by the entire membership, consisting of ALL 24 National Federations, a new Executive Board of the Aruban Olympic Committee was elected for the next quadrennial 2009-2013.

Secretary General (Nicole Hoevertsz) and newly proposed Treasurer, Mr. Edwin Roos, ran unopposed, while the other members were elected by a majority of the votes cast.

The new Executive Board of the Aruban Olympic Committee now consists of the following persons:

Mr. Roy Mezas - President
Mr. Michael (Maikito) Croes - Vice President
Ms. Nicole Hoevertsz (IOC Member) - Secretary General
Mrs. Miriam Baiz - Asst. Secretary General
Mr. Edwin Roos - Treasurer
Mr. Anthony Geerman - Member
Ms. Prisca Albertsz - Member
Mr. Robert Nieuw - Member
Mr. Herve Ruiz - Member
